True Detective' Casts Porn Stars for Colossal Orgy Sequence
Sources say at least two major talents in the adult film industry, Amia Miley and Peta Jensen, both 24, were hired for a deliriously vast, Eyes Wide Shut-caliber orgy sequence involving dozens of naked bodies. According to participants in the scene, the sequence was shot over the past few days in a Pasadena mansion. Season two stars Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams were also present for filming.
Funny twist: The adult actresses apparently are among the few people who actually don't get totally naked.
HBO declined to comment on the hires, and all participants have signed nondisclosure agreements that prevent them from discussing their work on the secretive series created by Nic Pizzolatto, but a source says the production didn't hire Miley and Jensen for their porn experience.
Miley, who was recently named the 44th "hottest" porn star by Complex, also appeared in the gritty Power Rangers remake that surfaced on the Internet in February. It's unclear whether additional adult film actors male or female were involved in the orgy shoot.

In Russia we have VOD service called Amediateka. They have contract with HBO and release their every show around 12-18 hours after USA airing. Same with Cinemax, some of Showtime shows and Starz. I received email from them with dates for shows they'll air.
And True Detective Season 2, Ballers and The Brink are scheduled for June. It's not the first time they revealed premiere date before official press-release.

Finished this up last night. WOW. Definitely lives up to the hype. This was a game changer for this type of television.

Just saw some of those filming pictures from Season 2, they look good!
I'm very cautious in my hype for this season, the first was just so good and its tough to think that they will capture the magic again this time. Like the actors in this one, just hope they can do it again for season 2. If it actually does start around june, then thats great, was thinking it would be later than that.

I usually wait until the season is over so I can binge watch it on HBO Go though, but it's good to know it's coming soonish.
Can't get over douchebag-looking Farrell though. :/ Major turn off.

I would argue that judging a person by their face is douchebag-esque in itself.
I was talking about his character. Greasy, long hair, 80s moustache and glasses, tight pants (edited because I was confused by previous pics).
I have no issues with the guy himself (I've... never met him) and he seems like a nice guy, even though he relies on his eyebrows for acting (see above).
edit: I actually loved the guy in Seven Psychopaths and In Bruges.

They started shooting in September I think so they're probably done filming by now. It's only 8 episodes and they're using multiple directors this time so it will most likely take less time than the 8 months it took them to shoot the first season.
edit: Wait never mind they started shooting in late November and apparently are still shooting. June does sound pretty optimistic even if they finished shooting really soon.
