I really don't expect them to write that article. An article about someone behaving the way normal upstanding people behave. No one is going to click on that or read it. It would really be a waste of their time.

That's not going to change the direction we aim to go. Or the drive I personally have, to make sure the community shines and takes care of it's players/the relationship between community and game companies. I love it too much to let it go South.

Maybe not as a separate article, but as a contrast to their writing about Aris it would be good. My biggest problems with all these articles is mostly that they are trying to apply what Aris said to the community as a whole.

Sexual harassment is wrong. Everyone knows it. Aris was clearly wrong and didn't give much thought to his comments when speaking with Jared. It's pretty clear the discussion between then was about the vulgar nature of the FGC, not his actual actions. The real problem for the community is should it be 18+ and if so how do you expect to market that?

In terms of actual controversy, this is mid-tier. Darkprince pulling out a knife in a tournament, the GAMME scandal, etc. rank way higher.

In terms of going mainstream and getting blown out of proportion, this is probably the biggest.
