The Spike VGAs Reveals: 11/13 Teased, 4 Known For Pre-Show/Commercials

This is an "out there" theory, but it certainly is unbelievable: Mega Man Legends 3 for PSN. Mega Man Legends 1, 2, and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne were on PS1, so MML3 arriving on a Sony platform wouldn't necessarily be that far-fetched.

Would be nice and unbelievable but the game/assets were designed for 3DS so I dunno if it's possible.

BioWare's new game is PS3 exclusive? Hype killed so bad.

Game is probably so bad MS told them they didn't want it on their system.

Unless its KOTOR 3, then hype back up!

The new Bioware game reveal and the PS3 Exclusive we won't believe reveal are different reveals.

The new Bioware game IS NOT the PS3 exclusive.

Still waiting for that hint.

Wait what? The re-tweet is the clue?

I don't see how a tweet made 20 minutes after Geoff's would be the clue, unless Geoff predicted that somebody would mention Bioware's next game 20 minutes into the future.

so star wars TOR coming to ps3 some time in 2012?

Hopfully it will be out in time for the games inevitable FTP switch.

Lame as hell if thats it.

Keighley is such a troll. I hate modern gaming media and how bloated it's become with announcements of announcements of teases of announcements. Need a fucking Xzibit meme here.

Gotta say I'm on the side with all those upset with these "teases of a tease of a tease."

I mean, I understand it's part of Geoff's job and all, but enough is enough.

This has backfired on the industry. No matter how cool or uncool the announcement ends up being, it will end being a disappointment in the eyes of most gamers because of how much it was initially built up. If you want to surprise people then say, "We have a PS3 exclusive announcement. Stay tuned to find out what it is," and leave it at that. There's no need to continually add to the mystique.

Exactly. This is basically massive amounts of over-the-top hyperbole for something that doesn't need it... at all. A simple mention of an exclusive title announcement is all you need and none of this extra "you won't believe" crap.

it's been a joke since the first reply where people post a game they want made

My commentary was on the state of gaming journalism. Nothing is a surprise in the gaming industry anymore. If a game isn't leaked then it is hyped up to the point of becoming a disappointment.

The people that work on games and are part of a game's creation have the responsibility to keep their mouths shut, to watch what they post online, and to prevent development from leaking out prematurely. The journalists that write about games and review games have a responsibility to ground expectations and to keep hyperbole to a minimum. None of this ever happens.
