Uncharted Collection Story trailer

Would I be opening a massive can of worms by saying it looks completely fucked up and in 'fast-motion' at 60fps?

Will there be a 'pure' 30fps option?

Not a can of worms, just kind of silly :)

ND placated to those requests with The Last Of Us, and the impression I got was that everyone mostly gave it a massive shrug once they realized how inferior playing with the 30fps lock was. I don't see why bother with that again.

I told myself this wasn't essential since I pretty much played every uncharted two times over already, but hot damn that 60FPS trailer is tantalising.

Definitely notice the flaws in the animation that breaks immersion a bit. Should be more than made up for by the smoother and more responsive gameplay.

Ah, I have yet to try TLOU on PS4. I imagine I'd get used to it, but it definitely takes some time, far more time than watching this youtube video.

I think you might have nailed it, because wide-angle landscape shots look fantastic in 60fps but facial acting scenes go pear-shaped immediately. It's like 60fps makes the 'uncanny valley' effect of the facial movements and body language even more apparent due to the higher fidelity.

That's interesting... I had no idea why I was responding that way.

Wow what an incredible trailer! This shows why the uncharted series is one of my favorites. I'm definitely picking this up in October

What's the history behind this image and why has this thread blown up because of it?

Hi, I'm nortonff. I spend my life going into threads to say that I don't care about the topic of the thread. It's a really good use of my time.

Yes, in PS3.
Welcome to the future son.

Even though Naughty Dog isn't doing the Uncharted collection, they did have that option in TLOU:R, so maybe they'll encourage Bluepoint to do so.

Damn, based on those screenshots from the last page they upgraded U1 more than I was expecting

As far as I know:
Both of those screenshots come from pre rendered cutscenes. So while that particular scene did for some reason get downgraded, people kept wrongly using it as evidence that the in game graphics had suffered some a massive graphical downgrade, which just isn't true

I have completely missed out on so many Playstation 3 games, so I'm definitely going to get this collection when I pick up a PS4 later next year. The series looks like a lot of fun.

The leap between UC1 and UC2 is part of what made UC2 so special.

At the time, yes. But I don't want to replay UC1 as an inferior game just because they want to retain the stark contrast in quality between the two. UC2 is an amazing game regardless of UC1's quality. Now UC1 will just be better for everyone.

Damn.....this trailer has me weeping. The mood, the music, the scenes, the message......greatness from small beginnings. Then Greatness Awaits at the end. I dunno if I can do this, play Uncharted 4 knowing it's the end.

I just keep imagining Drake or Sully saying this:

And damn it's crushing my soul. I'm still crying....this is too much. Day One is all I can say
