When I saw and played Ni No Kuni, I was thinking about a Pokémon RPG Adventure on the Wii U with some nice animé cutscenes etc. ^^

That's an incredible idea. I remember being blown away by Pokémon Puzzle League's supreme adaptation of anime elements. Even something similar to that would be pretty amazing. This would also be a perfect chance to have fans who don't follow the anime get to know the new anime characters.

And I'm sure Level 5 could make an RPG or even an adventure game based on the anime. Not as much of an adaptation as an abridged, quality-controlled version of it. I know I'd enjoy it.

Not to mention their older games: Dragon Quest IX. I remember thinking about the possibility of a Pokémon RPG by Level-5 (regardless of being anime-based) ever since we were still waiting to see if there would be another main game for Wii.

Actually, it was because his Charizard turned out to be shit and he left it there so it could sort its life out (which it did promptly and thus managed to rescue him from being incinerated by Entei in the third movie).

Yep. Charizard evolved so fast that Ash didn't know how to control it. Ash left it on an island to spread it's wings so to speak and get over abandonment issues. Ash got him back recently and now Charizard listens to Ash. In that universe, Charizard is top tier and OP.

Dragon Quest VIII and IX and Dark Cloud 2 are all really quality RPGs. I've never played Ni No Kuni so I can't attest to that, but Level-5 has some serious RPG chops.

I think their unique flavour of RPG would be better suited to a spinoff though, which would make sense since other studios have tried their hand at the Pokémon universe before (like HAL with Ranger, Chunsoft with Mystery Dungeon and Tecmo with Conquest).

I love the animation style of Origin as well, but it's a bit of a bummer that it won't be applied to Venusaur (AKA the best Gen I starter).
