they should delete some of those trees and add AA to the game
They still have 5 months to work on the game.

HOWEVER, there are TWO MAJOR AREAS OF CONCERN:-
1. Framerate is very janky and NOT smooth ENOUGH. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.DEFINITELY NEEDS WORK.
lol
You know, coming back to this thread, I occasionally see these weird criticisms where I don't really understand what they're talking about at all.
The game runs at 30fps, we all know this by now, but besides that. I wouldn't exactly call it very janky and not smooth enough. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just not able to detect this extreme amount of jankiness that seems so obvious to you.
I think he is mistaking the camera shake for "jankiness". Either that or I have terrible eyes.
That'd be my guess. I didn't notice any sluggishness or drops when I just replayed the downloaded MP4 just now.Yeah, maybe. Or maybe his computer is just not good enough to run 1080p video.
lol

I agree with what he said. I think the low frame rates look bad and are distracting, especially near the end of the video
Low frame rates? Do you mean 30fps or are you seeing drops?
As far as I can tell, it seems like a steady framerate to me. Like I said, maybe I am just not seeing it.
i dunno if it's actual drops or what but I think a lot of times when the car is on a road with sun and shadows it seems to accentuate the choppinessLow frame rates? Do you mean 30fps or are you seeing drops?

I think he means sub 60 fps is unfortunate for a racer.
I want to clean the windshield so badly. Pigs.

I just want to drive through those sprinklers.Windshield wiper DLC, that's how they get you.
Looks really good. By release I expect it will look even better. I do have one question, not related to the graphics. I know this game isn't going to have a huge car count, but are all the cars going to be these kind of high end supercars?
It's not all super cars, although it does lean in that direction. This is the car list so far

50 cars. Multiple classes, including hot hatchbacks
Good to know. The cars in these videos are rad, but so are some more "regular" cars.
I don't think there's a single dropped frame anywhere in this video, or in the other two videos released yesterday. If you point me to a timestamp where you're seeing it, I can go frame by frame to confirm it, but I think your video player is in fact just dropping frames playing this.I agree with what he said. I think the low frame rates look bad and are distracting, especially near the end of the video
55 tracks with variations included. How many tracks?
I can't stop watching that video, I gotta say it again, best damn visuals for a racing game to date! This gives me a feel of PGR as well but in pure 100% next generation beauty! Oh the foliage and track side detail is simply stunning!
That's neat. I love all the little details put into this game. And they still have a few more months to touch it up even more.Is the crowd casting shadows?
I wonder would we get new vids every Friday?
Yeah I could understand that!Lol. I actually brought that up on twitter this morning and the response broke my heart. But i expect them to have some regular pattern leading up to E3 at least.

Nah it will be fine.I worry the year long delay will be too much for DriveClub to overcome.
Project Cars looks amazing and is due this fall, on the PS4, too. The "real helmet cam effect" is just unbelievable.
