Based on what I've heard, Armillo and Guacamelee are both great titles that are coming this week. Probably worth checking both out.
I played an extremely early build of ZaciSa's Last Stand, it was pretty fun too.

When I saw the CN Rewards, it made me remember about the yearly rewards which end today. How long does it typically take for them to put out the offers for Platinum?

Hmmm I'm tempted to download Pokemon Art Academy.
I don't really have any interest in drawing Pokemon, but additional art lessons (and the ability to undo) are calling to me. I already have New Art Academy and every piece of DLC.....

Guacamelee is pretty good I have it on Steam

Not actually that important
Guacamelee is great, I'm sad it was the GWG chosen for July, I was looking forward getting it on the U but I can't justify it anymore honestly

I'm going to wait on Guacamelee STCE as it's a bit too much to double dip for me, despite the new content. Will grab after a sale most likely.

But if you haven't played the original release already for whatever reason, it should be a #1 priority game. Buy buy buy!

Guys I´ve never played a Assassins Creed game before, but I heard good things about IV and its just 20

Should I buy it?

It would be great to see some more 3DS Virtual Console games on the Japanese eshop sometime this month. Those stopped rather suddenly, especially considering that they had added extra systems not long ago.

I love the smell of a fresh monthly downloads thread. Subbed, and thanks again for keeping these going

Ditto! Thanks tolkir, I love these threads!

Not sure if you're in UK but the game isn't out till October in US. 99% sure you're in UK given you called it New Art Academy and that's the EU title, but just in case I wanted to let you know!

Guys why do VC games take up so much space on the Wii U? Kirby is freaking 65.9 MB. Pretty sure NES Cartridges could only hold up to like 4 MB

Each VC game comes wrapped with its own emulator, though I have no idea how that adds up to ~66MB.

Actually, the first MB isn't the same as the second MB (which should be mb, lowercase). Megabytes vs Megabits. NES games were actually KBs. Kirby is 768KB which is 6mb which means that those 65.9MB are even more absurdly ridiculous than you thought.

I know there's a difference between MB and Mb I was just putting out a random number for the cartridge capacity. But seriously, what is up with the size? :lol I've noticed in general a lot of eShop titles just have inflated file sizes

Yeah UK resident here, thankfully for once judging by that US release date!
I guess NOA are trying to tie it in with Ruby and Sapphire remakes...? But still it's crazy this still even happens.
I was hoping the worldwide launch of X and Y might set a trend... but I guess not.

?ve just downloaded Pullblox and Child of light, so I'll wait a little bit to purhcase other softwares, but within the end of the launch price offer I'll get Armillo for sure.

If you like pirates and ships and tropical settings then you should. For 20 is practically a no-brainer.

I'm looking forward for Armillo, i was watching it since it was announced. I'm happy that we get it in Europe sooner than later, like other games.

Looking at the sales list, AiRace Speed is there. People seem to have responded positively to this game, but the demo had some very annoying frame drops, which is terrible in a game like this. Is it because the full game preforms better, or that it's good despite those drops?

I guess I'll bite at Armillo even though I've no time for it yet.

If you haven't played guacamelee yet, I highly recommend you check it out

They started the localization pretty early and I'm really glad they did that. Getting over the first hurdle is localization, after that it's the annoying classifications. Once that is done and you pass the Nintendo's verifications, you're good to go. I think it's really important for an eShop game to launch worldwide or in as many regions as possible. Launching in the US first in in Europe months later can really screw with your momentum.

Anyone know anything about this game?

Indiegogo Page
This game is a exploration and narrative based horror game for the Nintendo Wii U. Michael Kennedy is a young boy who receives a letter from his father who recently took an "off the books" construction job in a strange valley down the road from their Mountain Home. In the letter the father explains that he is probably already dead by the time his son receives the letter. Michael has no idea what is going on with this new construction team or this hidden valley, but he loves his father and will do anything to try to save him.

As already mentioned in the old thread, Internal Invasion should be added to the list for 7/3.

Wow Gulatica, you're really getting stiff competition next week.

1 more title releasing for the Wii U eShop 7/3 - Internal Invasion

http://www.gonintendo.com/s/231912-internal-invasion-slated-for-wii-u-eshop-release

Any reason they aren't spreading this out a bit more? Currently there are tons of releases for next week (7, Guac on 7/2 and the rest on 7/3), but 0 for the week after so far right?

Also if you look on the eshop Bombing Bastards is listed as coming on the 3rd as well.

Bomberman Clone that doesn't look bad.

How's Inazuma Eleven? The sale is tempting me.

I played the original DS version, and absolutely loved it. It's a great Level-5 game through and through. The battles take some getting used to, though. It's quirky in its gameplay.

I would like to be sold on ACIV or Darksiders 2. I've never played an AC because from watching friends play some and my limited experience playing the first one it has never interested me. But I love the pirate setting and people praise the game. I don't give a shit about the series story.

I have played Darksiders and found it a mostly solid game, fun enough for one playthrough but on the whole a little long winded and repetitive in the level design. I understand the game is much bigger this time around so I fear the level design is worse, I'm not into character action games so the combat is probably not a selling point to me but probably won't hurt, and I like loot whore rpgs so that aspect intrigues me, though I've heard some negative reactions to it.
