I was playing Super Ghouls and Ghosts on my Wii U for the past 4 days or so. Got pretty far, the game is hard as all hell. Today I start my Wii U and the restore point has just vanished. Has this happened to any of you guys? Any way for me to get it back? I am so pissed off, I don't want to start over...bleh.

Do you mean the Restore Point as in the save you manually made or the suspend save where it saves automatically when you quit the game?
If you mean the latter, it only saves that when you quit the game, not when you turn off the console without quitting. If you meant the first, then I don't know.....did you log in with the same user? ;)

Edit: Also, there's a Level Select code, so you can easily get back to where you were. From GameFAQs:

Highlight ''Exit'' on the option screen with controller one. Hold L + Start on controller two and press Start on controller one.

Oh man I turned the console off in disgust after I died during the last level I was in. I figured the old restore point would still be there. I never created my own restore point, the one that the game was saving for me worked fine until I turned the console off while the game was still on. OK now I know better I guess..

Trozei for me! Can't wait for the first true, complete Genius Sonority game since PBR (Denpa Men feels off, likely due to the music not being by the same composer, who is back for this).

OK Trozei is $7.99? I was expecting it to at least be like $15! At that price I'm actually interested in buying it, Dr. Luigi should have been that price too (though I got that since I'm a slave to the Dr. Mario games)

Also pardon my ignorance but where are the VC releases? Do we just not know of them yet? There's no way they're not having any in a whole month

I haven't been able to log into the eShop all day. Sometimes I'll make it to the login for the Nintendo ID, but most of the time it just sits at the first loading screen. I think it's down or just very, very slow.

Hoping for Bubble Bobble and Super Punchout for the WiiU VC. They are on the JP and US VC already so they should come out in EU too, right?
And both are somewhat high profile too.

Super Punch Out is up on the US eshop, but Bubble Bobble definitely isn't for WiiU.

Blok Drop U should be added to the list, that comes out March 6 in the US. Pretty sure because there's even an eShop profile for the game. $2.99 if I remember correctly.

Bubble Bobble is only on the Japanese WiiU VC so far. But that would be nice, and it would be the first SquareEnix title in the West.

I've given up hope for that so it sure makes life easier. It's clear that VC is not a priority. It's just not a money-maker for them, so they don't give a shit.

On Wii it was a hit because there were tons of Wiis and all those titles were being sold at full price. On Wii U, other than a handful of games, most have small ratings amounts. I say that as evidence that no one's buying them. On top of that, they are mostly (probably) being sold to people who are merely upgrading them for $1 / $1.50 a pop. Not saying I agree (with all the release gaps they should go balls out), but 3rd parties are probably lukewarm at the concept. Hell, not even Sega or SNK are on board.

We might see an alright push with GBA stuff come April. I wouldn't count on it, but at least with everything being full price no matter what with that, we may see some titles pushed out.

I turned on my 3DS last night to look through its eShop.

Noticed that Renegade was also on it...man, lack of Crossbuy is really dumb when they release at the same time.

The catalogue of full titles is actually pretty solid, but MY GAWD the prices. $39.99 is $10 too high for all titles on there. SMT IV being $49.99 is a joke (I know it's on sale right now).

They need to get prices into the impulse buy zone.

I ended up grabbing Mario Tennis (I loved the GBC Mario Golf and beat that on the 3DS already).

*sigh*

Didn't even get the game. Lost Levels also wasn't released yet on WiiU. That makes three Mario games behind Europe (technically four if you count Picross). But on the other hand, the US has a couple of games that weren't released in Europe yet.
