always wanted to play uncharted at 60fps after eurogamer put out that desert shootout video a few years ago, will definitely pick this up at some point

Looks so good. Its going to be fun to run through all 3 games in a row. Also cool that they put Bluepoint on there. they deserve credit.

Anyways, the boat graveyard is the best part of Uncharted 3 as far as gameplay goes. It really shows what you can do if you use every skill at your disposal. Its a perfect mix of stealth, gunplay and melee. That section is why I dont take people seriously when they talk shit about the gameplay.

That being said, if youre used to only cover shooting(which you can get by most of the game by doing), then it is hard.

Sixty-five other characters skins

Are they just for Nathan or for other characters in the game? either way seems way above what I would have expected.

Never got the chance to play through all of them so I'm excited for this.

How long would it roughly take to go through all 3 games?

My guess is:

7-8 Hours for UC1
10-11 Hours for UC2
9-10 Hours for UC3

I'd say a shade under 30 Hours

Hmm, I'm surprised to see full 60fps on cutscenes.

I'm assuming that cutscenes will remain pre-rendered - re-doing them all in real-time would be way more expensive, I'd imagine. If they're doing 60fps videos for all three games - that would eat up a lot of disc space, right? Is this all shipping on one disc?

I see they're using U3 models. Good, they were the best between all the three Uncharted games, aside from Elena, who looked off a bit in the eye bits.

Also, yes, Doughnut Drake plus the other skins in all three games is gonna add alot of play time for me. Wonder if they're going to include in all three, mirror mode, gravity off mode IIRC, etc from U2 to all three.

I'm disappointed they didn't add a NG+ mode. Beating each game with late-game weapons from the start or doing a 100% rocket launcher run would be so much fun. A lost opportunity to increase replay value.

I feel like, if they were still pre-rendered, there'd no way the three games would fit on one disc.

Fantastic trailer. Couldn't tell which bits were from UC1 at first, which is testament to how great Bluepoint's work must be.

Isn't pre-rendered bigger than real-time ?

What a great way to expose newcomers to Nathan's journey. I only played the first game on PS Now which outputted the game at 720p along with some occasionally lag, so I'm really looking forward to playing the rest of the trilogy in 1080p/ 60 fps. My patience was rewarded...lol

Also, UC3 launched with a different aiming / trajectory system than UC2's, which a lot of people noticed immediately and didn't appreciate. Although the game has been patched since then, that first impression spoiled the game for a lot of players, at least on this board.

This really affected the enjoyment of the game for me - I even shared YouTube videos which were sent to ND showing the deadzone issue. Yes, the story was worse (due to casting issues which meant that key actors left production half-way through and Amy Henning had to do her best to cobble the rest of the plit back together) but the initial gameplay regression was the main issue for me. Without this, UC3 would likely be a lot higher up on most people's lists and less heavily derided than it is today.

I haven't bit on any of Sony's recent HD remasters, but this set, it might just do me in... UC was the first PS3 game that I fell in love with and have been a huge fan since. The games are fantastic little romps, one of the few game series my wife will actually sit and watch me play.

...that price tag, though. That's why I'm having a hard time committing.

You get it. Running and gunning, clumbing, jumping, rolling around. That's where the fun is and why Uncharted is one of the most fun third person shooters around.

Glad to see that ascpect expanded upon with 4.

Didn't watch and I don't plan to since everyone is saying it is spoilerific, but if/when I get a PS4 I definitely will get this so I can experience these games.

There's a cheat menu to unlock all the weapons so you can use them at any time. At least there was in the first 2 games.

Yes, that's why I'm raising the question. If they include 1080p60 videos of all cutscenes that would require a decent amount of disc space. I wasn't actually expecting full 1080p60 on all of the cutscenes for this reason.
