That trailer sure takes me back.

You can even play all three single-player games in the collection as Doughnut Drake

Goddamnit this makes the collection tempting, among harder difficulties and everything else, fuck you Bluepoint, fuck you.

How is anyone going to complete this section on the newest difficulties?

Its imposssible, IMPOSSIBLE unless they fixed the stupid enemy spawn points

I hope to god they fix it ... I'm crying inside just thinking about how hard it's going to be.

Crushing was a nightmare and now a harder game mode ... ? Oh god.

There's another section which was extremely hard where you was trapped in this area. I forget what the chapter was called though.

Yes, that's why I'm raising the question. If they include 1080p60 videos of all cutscenes that would require a decent amount of disc space. I wasn't actually expecting full 1080p60 on all of the cutscenes for this reason.
Somehow TLoU Remastered was about the size of the initial PS3 release with all the DLC added and 1080/60 cutscenes. I'm still wondering if this will be one disk or not.

Apparently the new difficulty level is only unlocked after beating Crushing.

If this is true and they've tied it to trophies, GTFO. This isn't our first rodeo with these games, every difficulty and mode should be unlocked by default.

I'm not sure if ND did this, but I think some ps3 games usually have duplicate data on the bluray disc becaused the disc read speed is slow, that may add up to the game size in PS3 while in PS4 we copied all game data to the HDD.

Bluepoint is on point.

Also, while it's not for us, I think Explorer Mode is a fantastic addition that needs to be a mainstay for Uncharted 4.

There are a LOT of casual fans that want to play Uncharted, and they should be able to play the game without dealing through the combat too much. The more the merrier

How in the world did they redo the cutscenes with new drake models for uc1 tho? There is no way if every cutscene from all 3 games are in 1080p 60fps that they will all fit on one disk, unless the cutscenes are all real time now. that would be crazy if Blue Point pulled that off.

What's the music in the trailer? Is it licensed or is it from Uncharted 4 maybe? It was beautiful.

Was thinking about this too. Works well in the trailer but it's a bit weird as it's not in any of the games as far as I recall. Wonder if UC4 will even have the classic theme song, I hope it has a rendition of it.

Run and gun. We all were crushed because we played it like Gears initially. Hiding behind cover and shooting. That's not Uncharted.

Once you play then right, these sections aren't AS bad.

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
Ugh... still fuming about Nate making such a horrid decision. That decision being Elena.

Chloe >>>>>>> Elena

Did I lie?

Wow, that is one great trailer. Great memories.

You can even play all three single-player games in the collection as Doughnut Drake (or any one of over sixty-five other characters skins) if you’re so inclined.

Just sayin, imagine that screenshot in the remaster. remastered lighting is going to fix so much of Uncharted 1's dated visuals.

Can someone do a side by side comparison of some of the stuff here?

Super hyped. Never finished Uncharted 1 because of how insanely difficult the enemies were, but 1080/60 might just be enough.

Anyone else think this feels like a reactive trailer drop against Gears of War trailer. They showed this a few hours after GoW's one, heh.

Based BluePoint.

They seem to have done an amazing job with this.

I'm super excited to play Drake's Fortune, I love that game so much.

Hi, I'm nortonff. I spend my life going into threads to say that I don't care about the topic of the thread. It's a really good use of my time.
Well, then stay away from the trailer lol.

Yup, I will. Only here for a couple of screenshots to check out the graphics.
Other than that, I want zero info on the story.

This remaster is done by Bluepoint and as such, I expect nothing less than the best. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Good god, those editing scenes with Sully/Kid Drake are so good.
It fits the mood of the overall theme from the whole series.

I like the look of these remasters, but, the trailer isn't representative of the mood, at all. I mean the music makes us believe there's some sort of serious theme in the games - which is entirely incorrect, i.e. it's a humorous, fun, buddy adventure story with a wisecracking main protagonist - not Christopher Nolan-esque seriousness.

The entire 'Drake-Sully' relationship is merely a background friendship, not the main theme of the games.

This is me exactly. I love games and have for nearly three decades, but I am horrible at 3D shooters (my wheelhouse is old school 2D platformers). I'd love to see modes like this in more games going forward.

Is that the general consensus? I've only played the third game and I remember loving that section.

I don't think so? I thought that whole boat section is one of the best tps sections I ever played (from graveyard to the end of the cruiseship), with many interesting gameplay twists by using the environment.

I don't even like uncharted, but that trailer was absolutely incredible. Framerate looked so good, everything so clean and polished, and so well cut. Incredibly impressive. Got me hyped for a game i don't even intend to play.
