Uncharted Collection Story trailer

Watching that made me wonder why people don't like 3 so much. I get the one level with the boat graveyard that sucked. Other than that I really enjoyed it. I still wish people took less bullets to kill and man he is a mass murderer but I love uncharted games.

That was probably my favorite level in the franchise!

Guess I am, just find the timing of both trailers being released a few hours apart from each other funny.

They plan these things well in advance. I remember Rushy telling us when new trailers for Driveclub had been sent to Sony, only to wait weeks on end for marketing to release them.

I really hope people realize after re playing Uncharted Drakes Fortune that it's in no way a worse game than Golden Abyss.
I agree.

That said, I would love to see Golden Abyss remade in this way with all of those Vita gimmicks removed. I enjoyed the game quite a bit, but all of the forced gimmicks detracted from the experience.

the story in 3 is the worst one of the 3 games. It's just a series of set pieces very loosely tied together.

Mind you, the set pieces are gorgeous and fantastic to play through but the story is a real bummer in UC3. It's just all over the place.

What a great trailer. The new modes sound pretty cool, I like that they're actually adding in some new stuff aside from gameplay & graphical tweaks.

Hmm, I'm surprised to see full 60fps on cutscenes.

I'm assuming that cutscenes will remain pre-rendered - re-doing them all in real-time would be way more expensive, I'd imagine. If they're doing 60fps videos for all three games - that would eat up a lot of disc space, right? Is this all shipping on one disc?
What's the difficult to run cinemantic in real time on ps4? I don't get it. Gears of war did it.

That level was awesome.

I just dislike the incredibly slow start. It only starts getting interesting past Syria (chapter 4 I yhink)
I also hate the cruise ship on harder difficulties and I don't know who at Naughty Dog thought adding a difficultt above crushing was a good idea but they're a moron.

My problem with 3 was the villains. Especially the apparently teleporting guy. Just took something away from it for me.

Was a fun game though. Love all 3. 2 is still the best.

Somehow TLoU Remastered was about the size of the initial PS3 release with all the DLC added and 1080/60 cutscenes. I'm still wondering if this will be one disk or not.

Nope, TLOUR is a decent chunk bigger than the original - by about 7GB or so due to the re-rendered 1080p60 cutscenes (and probably the better textures/models). The NDC has to be either using multiple discs or real-time cutscenes.

Damn, that 60FPS looks really good for the Uncharted games. Also, the Drake's Fortune looks surprisingly good. From the trailer, it's a lot closer visually to the remastered Uncharted 2 compared to the original counterparts. I think I also noticed higher res textures. Great job by Bluepoint so far.

What difficulties would be best for a newcomer? I'm pretty good at TPS games, and I thought Hard was just right when I played TLoU.

You'd probably be fine with the same difficulty while playing Uncharted. I recommend going one easier though, just so you can learn to run and gun, which can be immensely useful, especially in the latter two games. If you land a few shots from the hip, most guys go down real quick provided you initiate a melee attack immediately after. I play these games like a Die Hard movie, using the cover spots to break line of sight while I'm running around trying to get into an advantageous position.

My main gripe was that the pacing is off, like there are missing elements. What is actually presented in UC3 was pretty good and I think the character interactions (Drake and Sully namely, and their history) were done really well. The problem to me, however, that what is not present. Some plot elements never really got resolve, the baddies did not get enough "identity" (even though the game hinted at them being interesting) and some scenarios kind of came out of nowhere (boat section). It would benefit of a director's cut. That is not something BP can solve though. UC 1 and 2 had really straightforward stories, but they felt tight and the characters were done greatly. UC3 aimed at something a bit more complex, but also did not take the time to make it a perfectly coherent story.

Hmm? Gears of War did what? Gears on 360 was real-time most of the time, but some scenes were pre-rendered.

The difficulty lies in the fact that those scenes weren't designed to be real-time. Implementing that would be more difficult, I'm sure, regardless of available power.

also, no mention of the demo? I thought it was expected to come out during the summer. A date would be nice.

Summer ends late September, while the game comes out early October. My money is on September 15th, or even the 22nd in NA, depending on how far they want to push their definition of a summer release as that would technically mean a fall release for EU.

Wow, great trailer.

And I really want a young Nathan Drake game.

For those of you on the fence about watching the trailer due to spoilers, don't worry. It only seems spoilery if you've already played the games.

The part on the ship's upper deck with the Gatling gun bad guy & the containers moving in the storm will be hilarious on a higher difficulty than crushing, i.e. jump on top of the container, run to the back, avoid grenades, shoot him in the head - rinse, repeat, until Drake runs out of ammo.

Personally, I hated the hallucinated enemies in the Atlantis of the Sands at the end, so annoying.

Right in the feels. Fantastically put together trailer that has now both earned my custom and gained me hype for #4.

Huh, that and the following levels with the cruise ship were the best segments of the game by far imho.

How is anyone going to complete this section on the newest difficulties?

Its imposssible, IMPOSSIBLE unless they fixed the stupid enemy spawn points

Gameplay tip spoiler:
Take out the enemies arriving from the ground level first, ignore the machine gun guys on the upper level. Move all the way to the left of the room for the second wave of enemies, then once they're dead, kill the guys above.

Will the games have all the modifiers that UC2 had like low gravity and stuff like that? I really enjoyed playing the game over and over due to those things

They have introduced new cinemantic stuff in the remaster. But I never understood what's the problem to handle in real time cinemantic on ps4, in the ND games with the simple gameplay graphic setting.

Did they fix Chloe's face in 3? So she as least RESEMBLES what she looked like in 2?

Not sure about UC1 on brutal and the ending fights of UC3, those spawns and checkpoints are very VERY bad on higher difficulties.

At last. No more plastic-skin Drake!

Is there any news about "across the board" combat rebalancing, especially in U1?

Graphics, graphics graphics graphics...
It's Uncharted, they were great anyway, now, they'll be even better...oh my....
*wipes tear*
Beautiful.

But what about the fucking music too, lol.
That really set the mood, great trailer!.
It doesn't sound familiar. I wonder if it's a new added Score.
If it came from any of the other Uncharteds, it's probably on Uncharted 3.
Love it. I needz it

Can't wait.
I've actually got this pre-ordered twice. Hard copy and Digital.
