last 3 minutes with the godfather homage was great.
everything else was terrible. nothing remotely interesting going on with phil or mitch and cam. jay being to his mother-in-law what phil is to him seemed like it could be ok but it didn't go anywhere. just ended with him saying what amounted to "everyone chill." and the plot about gloria's sister. ...how are the jokes about her not knowing what an indoor washer/dryer are even remotely funny. she knows english, has seemingly visited the us before, her mother is a fully capable human being. but they push ridiculous idiotic columbian stereotypes with the sister because...why? felt so damn vapid and unfunny, like your sort-of friend trying to make a joke and having it just collapse in on itself due to how terrible and opposite-of-funny it is. I could overlook so much of the thin writing and just enjoy the milder jokes if there weren't so many instances of just the complete inverse of comedy.
This was the first episode where I've ever really noticed Ty Burrell's blinking problem. It was really obvious when he was driving around on his hugicidal rampage.
I would watch a spin-off with Pepper and Phil.
Wait, didn't they just do an episode about Alex's boyfriend? Why did Gloria say she didn't have a boyfriend at the psychic?
Yeah, I was confused by that too. Did they cut a scene or something?Yesterday's episode was pretty funny. But I think the ending flew over my head, why did Jay pass up dat ass? Was he hurting or something?
Gloria was smokin' in that episode.

What I took away from it was that Gloria and Jay's storyline was meant to put to rest the idea that she's with him for money and he's with her for sex. They both genuinely love each other and their family. I mean, I had come to that conclusion already but it's easy to think so I imagine it still hung in the back of a lot of peoples minds. This is why it showed her so eager to have sex and it showed him so conflicted by the desire to genuinely help his family despite the opportunity for sex.

Loved the Tiny Pink Panther song. Dylan is such a moron and random character on the show. Hahaha.
They broke up because she thought he was gay.
I lost it on the lesbian doctor line.
are Cam and Mitchel just very-friendly roommates
Because the last episode really seem to hint that!
Dylan living with Cam and Mitchell has so much potential. I'm looking forward to what storylines it brings.
What do you mean? Sorry, I haven't watched the last episode because here in Italy we are still at the end of season 3, but I'm really curious since Modern Family is my favourite TV series and Cam (and his relatioship with Mitchell) is what makes me like the show so much.
It was a joke, it was a Valentine episode and you see all the couples being affectionate with each other/having sex, while Cam and Mitchell don't even get to kiss.
I'm late, but thanks for the answer. So, that's that problem again, i think I'm fine with it, there are already a lot of awesome episodes when they show affection to each other and I'm sure that there will be many more (I hope) even if they weren't in this specific episode.
I can hardly remember an episode where they are together and they don't fight for some stupid reason or aren't mean to each other.
anyone catch tonight's episode?
fantastic episode overall, and Lily at the end was priceless.
