My pro tips for life thread (it's ancient):

http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=343013
think you missed my request

http://neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1434010

will also add a couple more, don't know the links or exact title though

Ash vs Evil Dead
Z Nation

Apps that do their job extremely well. One of the last threads I subscribed to and wanted to thumb over until the purge happened.

Done.

Was able to recover links to make this easier for this one group.

Do you happen to remember part of the title at all?
For the first one about China, I cannot remember as I commented on many China threads through the years. It could have been about Apple and Foxconn or it could be a China thread. The poster seemed knowledgeable about China issues in general. I haven’t seen him post for several years but I think his username started with a “b” and his avatar was a guy with a Fedora.

The second one is regarding the blogger, John Grober. It could be in a thread about his podcast “The Talk Show” or it could have been in a thread about Apple.

Et tu, Jack?

Didn't expect to see you asking for a ban, based on seeing you around for the past week.. If you're afraid of browsing here "costing you your job" or something, maybe just don't log in for a while? Difficult concept for a lot of people, amazingly.

Gotham S1 OT
Gotham S2 OT
Gotham S3 OT

Discussion was obviously dead in those threads but so many great screenshots and gifs are trapped exclusively in those threads.

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Can a mod be transparent and explain what is personal information that cannot be brought over? For example, the “finding jobs is soul crushing” thread is one of the largest collection of personal stories of interviews, firings, applications, education history, etc.

The policy seems entirely arbitrary and clarification would be appreciated.

I will try and get that information for you.

Any follow-up here? I'd like to know as well.

I've noticed a few threats from OT Community have been shunted to Off-Topic Proper. If that's being done to resuscitate certain threads that have become inactive after people jumping ship, is there any chance we could do the same with the current anime thread over there. It's been slow for the last week and a bit, and would likely benefit from being in the regular OT forum since I'm sure there are still anime fans on this board.

It can sort of be reset in January when the Winter season starts, but it would be nice to keep anime discussion somewhat lively in that thread in the meantime. Here's the link if any mods are okay with moving it to OT.

Thank you.

I was hoping the latest thread had the archive of the previous threads, but it does not.

The Writing group contributors would like ALL of the previous 222 Creative Writing Challenge threads also recovered. Hoping this isn't too difficult, based on the title being a standard format. If it's difficult, it's still a request, but a less urgent one.
