I hope the writers for Awake and The River post how they would have ended.

Yes. A 1000 times yes, although I think they knew about Awake early enough to give us a satisfying ending.

Having the writers for Invasion post how they were going to end the series was great. I wish the writers of The Event and FlashForward would have done that :(

Still nothing confirmed on The Office?, weeeeird.

Helms, Krasinski and Fischer said they're sticking around, but with Mindy Kaling getting a show on FOX and all this talk of a Dwight spinoff there's gonna have to be another cast upheaval if they want to keep the show around for much longer.

Secret Circle cancelled!? FUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Season 2 looked like it could be really good as well. :(

At least Gossip Girl and Revenge still live on!

I'm unhappy about Community only getting 13, but incredibly happy about Happy Endings and Parks and Rec getting full 22 episode seasons. I'm glad Up All Night will be back if for no other reason than I love Maya Rudolph.

I'm happy to get more Community in any shape or form, considering the weak legs it was standing on at the end of fall.

It seems most of NBC's comedy orders are 13 episodes...does anyone know if there are options for the back 9 on any of them?

Nikita is awesome. A shame you stopped caring.

I read an interview with the show creator of Revenge that stated that future seasons would also focus on the theme of 'revenge' and it would take place in the same universe, but from different perspectives. So this season was about Emily's revenge, next season it'll be someone else, who is tied into the events of the series.

At least that's how I understood it. The cast would probably come back, but focus would shift.

I think I should just quit watching TV seeing as how everything I watch seems to get canceled. CBS is smart they haven't canceled anything I watch...

my family found alcatraz when it was 7 eps in. me, dad and 3 brothers all watched it seperately and all immediately marathonned all 7 eps seperately. that is how good we all found it. so annoyed it was cancelled

That's just what happens with television, it's nothing to worry about. There is always plenty of good TV to watch, so any single cancellation (or even a cluster of cancellations) never bothers me. I'd rather watch 13 episodes of great show than never see it at all.

Hell, I always have between 60-80 season passes on my Tivo depending on what time of the year it is. The state of television is strong.

never going to watch a sci-fi show until I know there is a proper ending, at least SGU had some kind of ending

*Basks in the glorious cancellations*

Happy to see Nikita renewed (even if I haven't started watching it yet). Outside of that and the "Secret Circle is renewed! lolnowait it's cancelled!" thing, every other renewal/cancellation was expected.

Damn, I feel bad about Awake, but it never grabbed me. I gave it about 5 chances to. It had its moments, but I felt it never lived up to its potential.

I think I read somewhere that they'll be shifting Revenge to New York city proper for next season and leaving the Hamptons behind. I don't see how they can change the plot to be about someone else's revenge and still keep the same cast. You can potentially imagine that the Greysons have wronged someone else but where will Emily and all the others fit into that?

perhaps it will be likw qmerican horror stoey where evwry season is its own anthology, and the next season will see some of the same cast as different characters.

Only show I really enjoyed that got cancelled was The River and I knew that was coming. I would have liked another short season. Oh well. Pretty much everything else I enjoy got renewed.
