I just read that spoiler list that was floating around, has not ruined a single thing for me, just makes me wanna play it more. My satisfaction comes from experiencing the world within the game, thats my escape.

With the release of story-driven games like this I always think about the people that data mine stuff like this. You know what's going to happen as soon as you make that public. I've never understood it. Is it just a cycle of "I got spoiled so I'm going to ruin it for you too"?

Can you tell WITHOUT SPOILERS just how deep that leaked thing go? This is just list of cutscene titles? How much of a game does it leak?

I'm hoping this game has a midnight retail release at GameStop or Best Buy. I haven't done the midnight release buying them game thing since L.A. Noire. I'm really looking forward to this!

I saw the list and it's just titles of cutscenes (and maybe not even all? There aren't a lot). They aren't like (FAKE spoiler)
The Infected All Explode and the World is Saved
but they suggest events and do hint at the ending.

I dunno, I didn't feel very spoiled, but I'm a bit of a spoiler hound (spoiled the Lost finales for myself and such).

So they are not like Character A did that and Character B sad that? More like, i don't know, "Bank Robbery", "Fight for Doritos" etc?

I'd avoid any site that isn't GAF. Maybe GiantBomb or small indie's that you trust. Eurogamer, IGN, and Gamespot are known for spoiling many details of games whether it be in headlines or reviews(bioshock infinite is the latest example).

I grabbed it from Redbox today, and it seems like it's gonna work. Can't believe it wasn't set to unlock at midnight though, wtf.

I was going to skip this because of being turned off by the violence, but after reading some of the previews I am in 100%. Sounds simply incredible and something I sure as hell don't want to miss.

If the violence really bothers you, there is a toggle to turn off the really gratuitous bits (I'm assuming blood and dismemberment) and maybe it won't be quite so bad for you. Though, violence is in this game's DNA, and obviously no toggle is going to remove it all.

Unless there is some TF2-pyro-esque rainbow filter that makes lollipops and confetti pop out each time you sever a head

Quite a few first and third person shooters released this gen. ie: Modern Warfare, God of War past the first, Killzone, etc. I am getting less and less attracted to realistic violence in my games, but this one seems like something where the violence is understandable.

This is definitely nice to hear that there is an ultraviolence toggle. I probably won't use it unless I get totally grossed out.

I think that's cause this game aim's to actually deliver "realistic violence" in realistic survival situations

What difficulty you guys playing it on?

I don't know whether it is worth playing on Hard or not, I like Hard modes in games when enemies are smarter and not just more of them or do more damage types.

Have ND talked about it at all?

I'm deathly afraid of spoilers for this after some Gaffer PM'ed me with something that spoiled one of the larger revelations in Bioshock Infinite right in the title. Some people can be such dicks when it comes to stuff like this, even on GAF. I guess the only option I have is a media blackout, but I don't have the spine for it.

When the demo launches, you use the link in GOW to download the demo off the PS store. It will launch at 1:00 PM EST

Ahh, so downloading that thing is gonna be a pain. There will be people all over that demo dl at launch. I might wait until Sat. So I don't get frustrated with the speed. Lol
