The drop in form is so strange: to go from being one of the most coveted players in world football, to underperforming against Russian League opposition.
The strangest thing is, Reina's been pants for a while now, and I really do get the feeling that his best days are beyond him. Sure, he's looked solid for a month or so, but the sheer number of mistakes he's made, that have cost us in crucial situations this season and prior is staggering. I'm still under the impression that he should've saved United's second last weekend.
If we signed Ter Stegen I'd be made up. German keepers really are fucking brilliant. Zieler, Ter-Stegen, Adler, Neuer, and Weidenfeller. Puts most other countries to shame.
If he's half as good as the best Sissoko then you've got one hell of a player.

Pat Nevin was brilliant on MOTD2 at the weekend, bet he's ousted by Dion Dublin next week.

This seems really strange, to me.
My only exposure to Nevin is MOTD, and his time at Channel 5 doing the Uefa Cup, and from that I regard him as one of the better pundits; a ring below Neville-level. Perhaps he scales with the football, or you just clash with his personality, but I think he's far more insightful and brutal with his opinions than the anemic shite that is Lawro, Hansen, Dublin, Keown, Crooks, Claridge, and Owen.
