Uncharted Collection Story trailer

The upgrade on Drake's Fortune alone makes up for the lack of multiplayer for me. I've been very hesitant about revisiting Drake's Fortune after playing 2/3, but it looks like this might be the best way to do so.

Awesome trailer and the upgraded games look fantastic. This is one collection I'm very happy they are doing because I can't wait to play through all the games again before U4.

Cant watch but have they made any changes to U3's Elena's face?

Nope. I think it would take a lot of work to redo her face when you consider the cutscenes. They did the facial animations by hand and having to do all of that again with a new face would be a lot of work for what's probably little gain in their eyes.

I played about half of it on PSNow a couple weeks ago and it holds up surprisingly well. It was, at least for me, only enjoyable for about an hour at a time, whereas U2 held my attention until the real world came knocking.

It'd be great if Doughnut Drake carried over into cutscenes but I'd understand why that's still not the case (because they're pre-rendered videos) but it would be funny regardless if they went that far.

Just make Doughnut Drake canon and render him in all the cutscenes

Oh man, that's some massive upgrade right there! Nicely done Bluepoint!

Looks pretty nice (not that the games ever really looked 'bad')

The models clothes and hair all look better (or are just rendered at higher res?)

I noticed this with the young Drake clips as well, I saw details of Drake's baseball t-shirt I don't recall seeing in the PS3 version of those cutscenes.

Excellent trailer.

Although I still think (massive uc3 ending spoiler)
Sully should have died at the end of UC3.

I never played past the intro in U3, but it looks noticeably better than I remember, same with the other 2 ( I finished those )

This was posted in the thread shortly after the trailer released. Not sure what footage they used, but it might be safe to assume the source is YouTube.

Oh my god, that trailer was amazing! Looks like a really nice port.

I wasn't planning on picking it up since I've played the series so many times already, but there really is an appreciable jump in the quality of the visuals.

I've never experienced or seen anything Uncharted except for the TV ads back then, so I'm not gonna watch any trailers before completing the collection. Hopefully it's going to be a sweet, sweet ride.

60fps, 60fps everywhere! Looks amazing.

I was worried that the pre-rendered scenes from the previous games would still be 30fps, since the games are older than Last of Us. Very happy to see scenes from the first game all running super smoothly.

I'm guessing they're still pre-rendered, but a part of me is holding out hope that they're now all real time and I can have fat Drake in every cutscene.

Watching that made me wonder why people don't like 3 so much. I get the one level with the boat graveyard that sucked. Other than that I really enjoyed it. I still wish people took less bullets to kill and man he is a mass murderer but I love uncharted games.
I don't get it either. Also boat graveyard rules

Indeed, the boat graveyard was an amazing level, don't get all the hate either.

It's because people don't understand how to approach it -- they think you go in guns ablaze and not to use the water much. But if you use the water and stealth a little at first the graveyard is pretty amazing. It's the largest sandbox arena UC has -- tons of options at your disposal.

While I think it looks great it was also interesting to see how much the games have aged in that trailer. Something that would have really impressed me last gen at a lower frame rate and resolution didnt would have blown my mind. However, now it looks rather dated (still good), compared to stuff we see regularly.

I might be the only one here but I really really want to see more remasters from the last few gens. I think its a great time to be a gamer.

I think you got that wrong. The game didn't get good UNTIL the ship graveyard.
