Well, I sold my PS4.

Traded it right in to GameStop...

...And I got $397 towards a White PS4 Destiny Pre-Order. Looks like I'll be there for the midnight launch. I'll be playing the Beta on XBOne, 360, and PS3. Hopefully the XBone version can compare.

Gamestop is doing a promo where you get an extra 50% bonus when you trade in a ps4/xbo towards a xbo/ps4.

I'm thinking of trading in my ps4 for a xbo...

because I have a second ps4 that I won in a beauty contest

lol that last part. Are you serious? lol =P

But yeah that's pretty crazy. Pretty much get a full refund. Would be an easy trade for a white PS4. But ehh....probably better I stick with my black one. Man I dunno! lol

Titan was my favorite. That will be my first character for sure. Dat "Falcon Punch"

In actuality I do have a unopened 2nd PS4. I did win it but it was no beauty contest. I have no use for. So tempted to trade it in for $400 Gamestop credit. But there is something that rubs me the wrong way about selling a new system like that.

Posted on B/S/T to see if there is any interest.


Also DESTINY related. I have come into an extra beta code. I have two registered on my Bungie account.

And Titan is the best class.

Interesting. Seems the gun super might not be that powerful for PvE? Second one sounds awesome, though. Might try this class first in the beta. Hope the cap is raised a bit.

Sure seems that way in the alpha. I killed way more enemies with the Titan super than the Warlock's, but if you factor in the range, I prefer the Warlock's.

People that are being added into DestinyGAF - check the groups forums over at Bungie and post your info in GMT/CST/etc. threads.

It would be really nice if people would not only write their psn id and bungie name, but also simple - EU, NZ, GB... atleast

Golden Gun is great against bosses, and some of those bullshit enemies like the Fallen Captain that have the shield.

I think they're as good as each other. I found the Nova Bomb excellent for sneaking up on enemies in PvP, like over the top of the building to capture Point B on the Moon, or any of the points on Rusted Plains.

Warlocks do well with double-jump and then Nova Bomb from the skies :)

Just listening to the latest Guardian Radio on the way to work and they picked up on something I missed in the Alpha. When you were picking a strike or a mission you could select brave or legend as the difficulty. Next to the button was some percentage scores on damage and stuff.

I took these as taking that percentage away from what you have equipped to make it a harder challenge, but what they are actually showing is how well equipped you are for that difficulty. A red -23% means you have 23% too little damage for the recommended levels for this mission or a green 30% means you have 30% more armour than what was needed. That should help you avoid hour long boss battles by being under equipped.

i did legendary and had no idea what the numbers meant. mine were all pluses though and we did make it through so i guess it makes sense now

Im kinda interested to see what class everyone will be playing first (im guessing most people will try all 3). Cant someone who is good at this make a poll on the bungie forum?

After all the titles that have been suggested, I must admit I'm surprised that I haven't seen one I like more than the one I've chosen. Usually I'm not very good at making up titles.
