With this, my Soldier series PC Engine set is complete.

PSOne games: Samurai Spirits - Amakusa Kourin Special, Gokujou Parodius Da! Deluxe Pack, Paro Wars, Gradius Gaiden, and G-Darius

WonderSwan games: Buffers Evolution, Hataraku Chocobo, Kaze no Klonoa - Moonlight Museum, Tane o Maku Tori, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Gunpey Ex, and One Piece Grand Battle Swan Colosseum

Some more additions to the ever growing Vita collection.

The Ninja-kun box art is amazing imo. Really happy with Frogger as well, it's rather hard to come by these days.

Damn Markman you got one of these! They were sold out when I went to get one on Saturday. Was so mad, my friends wanted to see the Square Enix booth before we bought stuff and they were gone by time we got back @.@

New Aimer and Utada Hikaru albums
King of Fighters 94' T-shirt for fighting game nights at the bar lol.
Anahiem Electronics flag (Gundam)
Ultra Japan flag... also a shirt I forgot to take a pic of.

^ That's some gorgeous looking stuff right there! Especially those classic MSX covers!

Perhaps a bit too literal, but I picked up this little guy on my way home from work last night.

Each day I drive to and from home to work on my bicycle on this small road:

There's very few cars that drive on there but still enough to see a handful of bunny's being flattened on a weekly basis. :(
So last night as I was driving home in the pitch dark, I notice this little black ball down on the road.
I step of to pick up this tiny hedgehog and am about to put him in the grass on the side of the road as I notice a car coming up in the distance. I also notice how small this little guy is and wonder if he's big enough to get through the winter like this.
So I decided to take him home.

Now don't panic. I'm not trying to keep him as a pet or anything.
I have a family of at least 4 hedgehogs living in my garden which I've been feeding for a couple of months now as you're only supposed to do this before and after the summer.
I put him in a carrying cage for cats for the night, gave him water and some dry cat food and he's been eating nicely.
I noticed this morning that he has his stool is quite soft, so I'm going to keep him a couple more days until he's healthy enough te release. If it doesn't improve I'll call animal rescue.
Right now I put him outside in the garden underneath an overhang, so that when it rains, he remains dry. Got him some dry leaves as well so he can curl up and sleep during the day.
I'm hoping that tonight, when the others come to feed, they notice him/her and check her out, get familiar and hopefully adopt her into the group by the time I'm able to release her.
Really crossing my fingers that all this goes right for the little one.

I now live in the countryside, so that's certainly a plus.
Got all kinds of critters here in the garden, from frogs, mice, all kinds of birds (up to 50 at once during breeding time) and a bunch of Koi's. Sometimes even ducks and a rabbit or two and even a falcon. :)

That's one impressive garden. Did you get that designed by a garden designer, or is it all your own work?

Didn't know hedgehogs would also live in people's gardens. I live in the city myself. My parents live in the countryside though, and we've had a lot of animals (foxes, martens, ...) in the garden during my youth, but never hedgehogs.

^Oh! I still need to pick that one up soon! So glad it got a physical release.

Thank you. :)

It was like this when I bought the house exactly one year ago.
Although I had to do some serious cleaning up and garden work as the lady who lived here was elderly and so she had trouble keeping up with all the work this place needs.
There's still a ton of work that needs to be done, but for now I'm happy that I'm able to enjoy the summer weather in a nice environment. :)

I don't think we have foxes around here, but I can't be sure.
There's a couple of nature preserves on my way to work where certain rare species reside. I only know this because there have been signs with picture put up recently.
I've seen a huge owl last winter as I got home though, a really big one!
And quite a lot of bats as well. :)

My mom lives at the edge of town and she also has a couple of hedgehogs in her garden. :)
The thing is, next to both of our houses are open fields. One with a couple of sheep next to me and at the back a cornfield which during the summer nights can give a bit of a Signs vibe. :D

I noticed a large hedgehog running around last year, but sadly one day I found him floating in the pond. :(
I've since put in some large rocks so that if one falls in, they can at least climb up on one of the rocks till I notice them in the morning when I go feed the fish.

Hadn't seen any hedgehogs since, till a good 2 months ago when I noticed a little brown ball crawling over the grass during dusk. When I started putting down some dry cat food at night, I noticed that there was a whole family living here!
My living room looks out into the garden, so I get to see all kinds of wildlife here.
Quite the opposite of the hellhole that I used to live in, which literally made me sick.
Which is also the big reason why I chose this place to live even though I have my work cut out for me for at least the next 10 years. ;)
But health and overall happiness comes first, so I certainly won't complain!

The hedgehogs live underneath the hedge as far as I'm aware, which makes sense I guess. ;)
They build a nest out of leaves and twigs, but I haven't gone exploring to see where exactly they are since I don't want to disturb them.
One of the most important things to keep in mind is to not give them any milk as they get diarrhea, lost a lot of fluids and die of dehydration. So only give them a bowl of fresh water and some cat food. :)

Good to know the Euro release of Assault Suit Leynos actually exists somewhat. My pre-order from months ago was cancelled days before it was due to launch. o_o Rising Star must have printed the absolute bare minimum amount.

I'll just order a US copy I guess...

HD Retrovision component cables for Genesis and SNES

Up From the Depths and Dragon Quest VII

Count Dracula's Great Love, Horror House on Highway 5, and Hellbent

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and An American Werewolf in London (Newly Restored Version)

Kinda disappointed by the nasty amount of DNR used in An American Werewolf in London, but it looks much better than the previous blu-ray.

Esper Dream 1 & 2 Sound Memorial and Lagrange Point Soundtracks Returns

Rom Cassette Disc in Taito Vol.2 and Macross Delta Vol. 3

Tenjin Hidetaka Art Works of Macross Valkyries -Third Sortie-

More beautiful Macross artwork from Tenjin now with English text

A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Come Home

Hammer Films Double Feature 1&2

Kinda disappointed how these releases were treated. So-so transfers, a single layer disc for two movies, and lossy audio. Movies are good though.

The Return of Godzilla (Godzilla 1984) and The Transformers: The Movie

The Iron Giant: Signature Edition and The Legend of the Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II

The Monster of Piedras Blancas and Hammer Horror: 8 Film Collection

This is how Hammer horror should be done. Great transfers, dual layered disc for two movies, and lossless audio

Loose Pac-Man, Spartan X, and 1943

retroUSB AVS NES System

This thing is great! Works with every NES/Famicom cart and peripheral I've thrown at it (yes, even my Everdrive N8). The only thing I'm not digging is the way Famicom carts look when plugged into the system.

Starting off October right :)

2016 228i, 6MT, 18" alloys, tech/nav package, convenience package, in Deep Sea Blue metallic.

September 30 was my birthday, so I treated myself to a few things and got a few gifts!

Picked up Persona 2 and Tactics Ogre for PSP. I don't actually have a PSP yet, but someone on kijiji was selling these for cheap and I wanted to get them for the future. I picked up Lumines 2, FF Tactics, and Metal Gear Acid last month, so I'll have a nice little library when I get the actual system.

IMG_3450.jpg

My girlfriend got us Captain Toad and Yoshi's Woolly World for the house; she's obsessed with collecting stuff in games (she loved Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze so much) and these scratch that itch really nicely. Plus Yoshi came with the pink yarn amiibo.

IMG_3454.jpg

Then, for my birthday, she got me Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest...

IMG_3452.jpg

...and a first-gen Vita!

vitasys.jpg

The Vita is amazing...the OLED screen is gorgeous, everything about it is so elegant and slick. I only have Nintendo hardware aside from a PS2, so I'm used to stuff like the DS or 3DS, which feel like toys (I still love them, of course). The Vita, however, feels like a real, professional piece of electronic modernity.

I wanted things to play on my new Vita, so I picked up a couple of first-party big guns...

vita1.jpg

...and the three Vanillaware games. I sold my PS2/Wii copies of Odin Sphere and Muramasa, because these seem like the definitive editions.

vita2.jpg

I also made a GOG account for the first time and got a couple of things on sale.

Just a small update on the hedgehog story.
The little guy is doing very well. He's been eating a ton and best of all, the other hedgehogs have all come to check him out last night. :)
I put their food next to his cage instead of in the usual spot and thus, they were able to get accustomed to each other.
Gonna see if his droppings normalise and if all goes well, I'll be able to release him tomorrow night. Crossing fingers.

And a little videoclip as well. ;)

I didn't love Kingsglaive, but still going all in for this game. Also, I'll give it another go while I'm recovering from wisdom teeth removal surgery.

And it comes with extended Brotherhood!

You're a good dude. That thing is cute!

Thanks! :)

The little guy seems to be doing great after I set him free Monday evening.
I left the cage open so that when he woke up he could join the others who had been visiting over the weekend. I had put their food close to his cage so they could get accustomed to each other for a couple of days.
Yesterday night I saw him again as he came back to where the cage still sits around midnight. Watched him eat and drink and then waggle back into the bushes towards the spot where the other hedgehogs always seem to go.

So I'm pretty sure he has found a nice little place to live.
I'm gonna leave the cage there for another week or so in case the weather turns bad and he starts looking for a dry place to sleep.
I made one mistake though, I put some Ivy in his cage at first since I didn't have any dry leaves. Turns out that this stuff is poisonous. (yeah, like poison Ivy..... :-/ )
I should have known had I made the connection that the plant was named that in English.
But it only was in there for an hour or so before I got a message from my sister. Bought some hay and put that in there instead.
Not sure if this Ivy was poisonous as I handled it myself without gloves and noticed nothing so I guess there are quite a few species of this plant.

Also put a pot (for plants) upside down and cut out a doorway, filled it with hay and put it in a sheltered spot in case one of them wants to use it.
So glad it's turning out great as I've been worrying all weekend long if I did the right thing or not.

Anyway, also got 2 new games in today.
