Uncharted Collection Story trailer

I haven't played Uncharted (except for Golden Abyss, which I loved), so I'm excited!

Is
fat Drake in this? 'cus fat Drake is hot!

Explorer mode sounds neat. I found combat really tedious in 2 so if it makes it easier or better yet, cuts down on the hordes of enemies, I'd enjoy these games more.

Oh man I didn't think I would get really excited about this collection but this trailer brought back the memories and now I'm pumped.

Trailer looked great! I can't even imagine how many bullets it will take to kill enemies in the higher mode (above crushing).

The music in the trailer.. wow! I love it. :)

I'm not getting this for now... I have already plat'd all the Uncharteds on PS3 and Crushing was hard enough. I don't feel like playing Crushing 3 times again and then 'Brutal' 3 times. I like Uncharted, but not like this and not for this price.

It's a great collection though.

What is this about fitting on the disk? I thought Uncharted 3 by itself pretty much filled up a entire dual layer disk?

It did, though things like the 3D cutscenes and MP not included here would cut that down. However, there's still no way all 3 games would fit on one disc without switching the cutscenes to real-time.

never played an uncharted game before, really excited about this trilogy, thank god I switched to PS4 this generation, greatness awaits

Was hoping to have 7 Uncharted Platinums by the time 4 launched, but I think brutal mode will make that pretty rough. Definitely looking forward to this. I don't think I've replayed the first one since the trophy patch.

Just off watching that trailer, I got chills....Wow just wow.
Seeing Uc1 Uc2, Uc3, all in 1080 60 fps, and it looks like they changed and cleaned up some of the scenes as well. Drakes shirt has so much more detail than it had in the ps3 version in those scenes. Wow

I cant believe watching that gave me chills like it did, all i kept saying was "OMG" lmao and this is a game i already played! LMAO
Totally agree with your post except ive never played them so im keen

Did you play it as a cover shotter though? IMO, Uncharted combat is all about locomotion and traversal. Blind fire, shotting while running, using the environment to add dynamic, etc. Which is something Uncharted 4 is focusing a lot, that is why I am so hyped about it.

The Collection will also be 60fps, which adds a lot to the gameplay, so I think you should give the game another chance! Think about that when you play it in October! Go all out! It makes the gameplay much more fun!

Henry Jackman did X-Men: First Class and Winter Soldier
I think we are in for a treat

Only piece of music I remember from those is Magneto's theme.

If you saw it, did you like the music to Captain America: The Winter Solider? He did the music to that. And as others pointed out, he also did the music to X-Men: First Class. He's an accomplished composer. I'm sure it'll be fine. Though, I do hope he does not abandon any of Greg Edmonson's themes and motifs.
This is the issue right here. The music in Uncharted is all tied together by a similar style. So for them to do this means they're either abandoning the established musical style of the series or they're having someone else emulate it.

Neither is good.

Holy shit.

Amazing trailer.

Also, didn't realize they were putting this amount of work into all 3 titles. Super pumped now.

This is the treatment Gears 2-3-A should have received.

The Uncharted games truly are system sellers. Arghhhhhh.... there's no chance of a PS4 price drop anytime soon is there? :p

Looks great, surprised that they're redoing all the cutscenes and improving the texture work in UC1. Only thing that bothers me is the omission of motion blur from UC2 and UC3, I hope it's something they're still working on implementing before the final release.

young drake's skin looks weird...like he has an old person's skin or something.

This is how old Uncharted games always looked because of the simplified shaders used on the faces. Looks like they have simply improved the resolution of the textures. The shaders and geometry look roughly the same. I would have loved to see improvements in the lighting and geometry.

Explorer mode speed run better just be for one of the games. I wanna platinum but I don't want to play through each title potentially 3 times.

Explorer mode. + crushing + brutal crushing.

I was 12 years old when Drake's fortune came out, It feels like yesterday playing it on the day I got it for my birthday. Can't wait to relive one of my favorite series again and to see it come to an end with 4.

The lighting is the weakest part of this remaster imo. It screams last-gen unfortunately. I'll still buy the f out of this trilogy because i'm a huge Uncharted fan and i made a terrible mistake the day i sold my PS3.

Never played any of them, and I owned a PS3 for 6 years. Does that make me a bad person? Will definitely pick this up though!

+ Play all 3 games back2back2back at your own leisure without waiting for 2 year dev cycles.
+ The games got a graphics upgrade, specially the first entry.
+ "Some mechanics are improved or changed for the better" - according to Blupoint.
+ Uncharted 4 BETA.

- Some things that looked/played/felt novel back then are not novel today (graphics, set pieces, mechanics etc).
- Hype is definitely not the same.
- Missing original multiplayer and online co-op.
- Spoilers.

Daaaaaamn I can't wait for this.

Uncharted 2 is one of my all time favourites, maybe even best-five.

1 and 3 are also great games.

Playing everything in glorious 1080p with improvements? 60 fps too?

Collection of the forever. I can't believe we've already got this and the MCC.

That's the best thing ever (after all these games getting a proper pc port ahah).

People experiencing U2 for the first are in for the ride of their lifetime, I'm so jealous.

It doesn't but now is the perfect time to buy the games for PS3 for cheap. I got all three games for about under $20. You will miss out on the graphical upgrades, new modes, and beta, but if you really want to see how Uncharted has evolved, the PS3 versions really do bring that across.

Anyone else thinks this could be Bluepoints best selling remaster?

Oh man I feel old! I was 17 when I played Drake's Fortune struggling with A-Levels.

It's crazy to think how much I've grown up with these characters through my young adult life.

I dunno how much the MGS HD collection sold, but this definitely has the potential. It looks like this could be their best technical port as well. This might be as good as the magic they pulled with the 360 version of Titanfall.

As someone who has platinumed two of the games, and played the other two plenty, I wasn't expecting to be that excited about this. But that trailer is absolutely fantastic!

Does it have gameplay changes?

I'm so perplexed how framerate and resolution gets people so excited yet how the game plays is seemingly not important.

Yes, the previously mandatory motion elements (balancing, grenade throws, etc.) is all optional now. Theres sommit with the shooting, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Also, I'd say frame rate is important to gameplay.

Looks like they put in good work on the assets, the new detail level coupled with 1080p/60fps should make this three adventures well worth a reply (and terrific first experience for those who've never played the originals).

Fantastic trailer. Reminds me how much I have loved playing them. Might get this to play them again.
