lol I think he's team warlock too. As the trifecta of the Bungie PR team, no Hunter to balance the scale is unacceptable.

I believe you'll receive an email on your PSN account indicating when you can download the beta. Don't need to go through Bungie.net to redeem a beta code.

I never understood that hunter's ability I've saw two versions of it, the teleport slash and the stand still spin. Is it an upgraded version?

More than likely. Did you see the sales figures for Watch_Dogs? Something like half of all physical copies were for PS4. I'd expect that to be the same with Destiny, if not higher.

Hopefully I get mine back before the beta starts and I will grab another code, somehow.

If anyone has a spare that'd be super, just a little reminder of the amount of Alpha codes I sent out ;)

My excitement is slowly building for the beta. I only got to play the Hunter up to max level on the Alpha so hopefully I can get a bit more gametime.

Sure they'll be double hard bastards, But it depends on how good the player is.

I personally WRECKED Titans in PVP using my hunter...

I think Titan is one of the harder classes to play in PvP, because you must be up close to use your abilities. I expect many people to give this class a bad reputation by playing like crap.

It's gonna get interesting btw when the defensive subclasses are unlocked. I wonder if they are viable for PvP.

I personally think (coming into it as a Veteran 30K plus halo games)
That the "bad kids" will be using the titan to somewhat give themselves a chance.
And it'll be a shame as I think being a skilled player with a titan will give you an advantage,

From what I have been reading, yes class and sub types to slightly come into it. BUT they have all been buffed so it's not just a case of play longer to win.
Which is really good as I would absolutely hate it to be that way and it would sort of break the Halo feel that I have been getting from Destiny having played the Alpha.

I personally will be a hunter as I'm all about the agility and the strafe speed, plus double jump is my home boy.

Buddy of mine played the Pre-Alpha which had more content than the Alpha. Long story short, Titan's "advanced" skill upgrades you get in the later game can carry a team through tough encounters, whereas the Hunter's later game skill upgrades are more "selfish high damage, single target." Now, that was the Pre-Alpha so things could be drastically different now so we'll just have to wait and see. He didn't mention Warlock though, so it could be a mixture of both. I'm not bashing on Hunter though, because every Fireteam needs at least one Hunter. All i'm saying is that a Fireteam of Titan's will wreck shit towards end game. Especially with the Titan's Ward of Dawn.

The Titan reminds me of the Support class in Battlefield. Newbies pick it because it has the "big awesome guns". LMG's are hard to use if you're not familiar with the game mechanics, but if you are they can make you the best player in the round.

Hunter is the fastest moving class in the game?

Well that's not exactly true, All of the classes can use each others guns.
You want an LMG on a Hunter you can do that too.... All about the heavy ammo and adapting your weapons to your play style.

I think the split goes
Warlock - faster health regen
Hunter - fastest
Titan - more default shield.

Just watched the IGN crucible vids. Got damn tat looks hot! I wasn't keen on the PvP but it looks hectic. It will be a nice change up from BF.

How I wish that beta thread was up :).

I don't know about Titan being abused. In the alpha I saw a good use of all classes. The class I came across the least is prolly warlock. I've tried playing warlock but couldn't get used to his jump. Just felt weird and out of place.

I'm a big Titan fan. In Halo, CoD and BF I'm the one lurking around small corners with shotguns and prepared to take it for the team. So Titan truly is the playstyle that suits me. Those handguns also work miracles from close range. I just compensate my lack op agility in bravery :).
