Hunky Nostradamus
(Click the picture to watch the trailer!)

Family Tools - ABC

The series follows a man who's had a streak of bad luck with everything from enlisting in the Army to flunking out of seminary three times. When he returns home, he finds himself in the unlikely position of taking over his father's hardware-handyman business due to the fact that his father was recently diagnosed with a heart condition. However, this transition is not as easy as expected as he tries to maintain the success of the business that his father built, especially with his father keeping a watchful eye.

Maron - IFC

Marc Maron has been a comedian for 25 years. He’s had his problems. He was an angry, drunk, self involved, twice divorced compulsive mess for most of his adult life, but with the popularity of a podcast he does in his garage and a life of sobriety, his life and career are turning around. MARON explores a fictionalized version of Marc’s life, his relationships, and his career, including his incredibly popular WTF podcast, which features conversations Marc conducts with celebrities and fellow comedians. Neurosis intact, Maron is uniquely fascinating, absolutely compelling and brutally funny.

Family Tree - HBO

A single-camera, documentary-style show in the manner of the acclaimed feature films of Christopher Guest, this new series stars Chris O’Dowd as 30-year-old Tom Chadwick, who recently lost his job and girlfriend, and has an unsure sense of his own identity. When he inherits a mysterious box of belongings from a great aunt he never met, Tom starts investigating his family lineage and uncovers a whole world of unusual stories and characters, acquiring a growing sense of who he and his real family are.

The Fall - BBC Two/Netflix

A psychological thriller that examines the lives of two hunters. One is a serial killer who stalks his victims at random in and around Belfast and the other is a talented female Detective Superintendent from the MET who is brought in to catch him.

Does Someone Have to Go - Fox

In the new six-episode series, the boardroom doors get blown wide open when employees are given the power to make some tough decisions. Frustrated bosses will hand over the reins of their companies to the employees, offering their respective staffs a chance to make changes in the workplace - even if it means letting co-workers go. Each participating office will have its own set of issues, which will force them to take a hard look at what's plaguing their workplace and answer the toughest question of all: Does someone have to go?

The Goodwin Games - Fox

"The Goodwin Games" is a single-camera comedy that tells the story of three grown siblings (Scott Foley, Becki Newton, and T. J. Miller) who return home after their father's death, and unexpectedly find themselves poised to inherit a vast fortune - if they adhere to their late father's wishes.

Pulling the strings from beyond the grave is the children's late father, Benjamin (guest star Beau Bridges), a college math professor. Guilty over not parenting his kids better, Benjamin has left behind a series of unique challenges - administered by his estate attorney April (Melissa Tang). Through these tasks, Benjamin hopes he can get his children to rediscover their true selves and learn the lessons he failed to instill in them while he was alive.

Their potential reward? More than 20 million dollars - a fortune that they never knew their father had - and the chance to become the people their father wanted them to be. So let "The Goodwin Games" begin!

Motive - ABC

When murder is committed, Angie Flynn, a loving, single mother and a damned good detective, along with her partner, Detective Oscar Vega, are on the case, looking for clues that will lead them to the killer. But "Motive" turns the tried-and-true crime drama formula on its head by indentifying the Killer and Victim at the beginning of each episode. These storylines are then further explored via stylized flashbacks that piece together the mysterious connection between these two characters and what drove the Killer to commit murder.

Save Me - NBC

Welcome to the Midwestern suburbs, where exciting things never happen. Well, almost never. After a near-death experience, Beth (Anne Heche) is revived only to realize she now has a direct line to God. Of course, her husband Tom (Michael Landes) is skeptical and dismissive - and his mistress is all but hostile that her lover's wife is now a prophet!

But when inexplicable things begin to happen, everyone's beliefs are tested. Beth starts to say and do things that shock her family and entrance her friends, but she isn't going to be your typical "fire and brimstone" prophet. Let's just say if God had a desperate housewife as His mouthpiece, Beth would be it! She is the absolute last person on Earth who would be chosen. Then again, they say He works in mysterious ways. And this one is a real mystery!

Their lives are disrupted in unexpected ways when Lena meets Callie, a hardened teen with an abusive past who has spent her life in and out of foster homes. Lena and Stef warily welcome Callie into their home thinking it's just for a few weeks, until a more permanent placement can be found.

What happens next will determine if Stef and Lena made the right choice in taking a chance on Callie, and whether they have room in their home - and their hearts - for one more.

Mistresses - ABC

Based on the hit UK television series of the same name, "Mistresses" is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery: Savannah ("Savi"), a successful career woman working toward the next phase in her life, both professionally and personally; Savi's free-spirited and capricious baby sister, Josslyn; their friends April, a recent widow and mother of a ten-year-old daughter, and Karen, a therapist with her own thriving practice. These four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life's storms of excitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they've created.

Through the show's unique interactive digital platform, viewers will be polled each week to determine the contestant they consider to be the most heroic. The competition will then climax with viewers voting to determine who deserves the grand prize and the title of "The Hero."

72 Hours - TNT

Completing the ship's complement is the odd-ball cook and the cerebral doctor Anwar.

Maxwell is a former Olympic athlete who uses her brains, beauty and Beltway connections to solve cases. King's career in the Secret Service ended when the presidential candidate he was assigned to protect was assassinated, sending him on a downward spiral. Excellent work as always, Ratsky. Thanks.

EDIT:

For the inevitable list wars portion of the thread...

Will watch: Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, The Bridge, Strike Back, True Blood, Low Winter Sun
Might watch: Family Tree, Graceland, Ray Donovan, The Newsroom, Under the Dome

I'm probably forgetting a few things, too...

Arrested Development - Netflix
Venture Bros - Adult Swim - 12/11c
Dexter - Showtime - 9/8c - Final season
The Newsroom - HBO - 10/9c
Whose Line Is It Anyway? - The CW - 8/7c & 8:30/7:30c
Breaking Bad - AMC - 9/8c - Final season
Strike Back - Cinemax

Derek - Netflix

That summer drought, but I'm sure shows will look a bit clearer as they air.

Oh geez, I forgot about "Maron"

that's a definite watch.

The second episode of Maron is up on the IFC site - http://www.ifc.com/the-stream-room
A few slight chuckles but you'd have to listen to the podcast to get the most (or anything) out of it.
If no one makes a thread I'll throw one up Friday.

Apart from the returning shows nothing is jumping out at me.

The Dome sounds interesting but I don't think it'll be good.

Awww, OP left out the best part of the new Fox ADHD show High School USA!

It's written and created by Dino Stamatopoulos of Community, Morel Orel and Frankenhole fame.

Breaking Bad and Burn Notice definitely.
Im curious to see how the new season of Perception and Falling Skies turn out.
I think Ive had my fill of Chef Ramsey calling people donkeys/cows for cooking risotto and beef wellington wrong.

Damn, I thought "Hell on Wheels" had been cancelled. That last ep was awesome, glad that it is back (if true). But that would mean there are TWO westerns on, which clearly can not be! :)

I dont know if I can recall a show dramatically improving from its first season to its second like Falling Skies did.

Still not amazing, but it is now decent and worth a 3rd season tune in.

OP, you forgot Teen Wolf =/

Other than Teen Wolf though, I'll probably stick to Twisted and check out Under the Dome. Both seem to be relatively interesting.

Only Breaking Bad and AD. Hate watching TV in the summer, would rather be enjoying the weather outside.

So many series, so much crap.

Of all these new ones I will watch Under the dome and maybe Low Winter Sun.

Damn, guess I will be watching a lot more this summer than I had originally thought.

Family Tools
Masterchef
Arrested Development
The Killing (will check out this "new case")
America's Got Talent
Under the Dome
Big Brother
Dexter (I don't think we know for certain that this is the last season still, they've said it, but they've also alluded that it could go on)
Ray Donovan
The Newsroom
Breaking Bad
The Pitch
Derek
The Bridge
Goodwin Games
Low Winter Sun
Whodunnit(will check it out, maybe it can fill the gap that The Mole left)

Hoping someone does a Survivor rip off so I can watch summer Survivor.

It's called Big Brother, and it's better.

If you have BBC America check out In The Flesh. It's an interesting 3 episode zombie drama that's pretty unique.

Will be watching Arrested Development, Venture Brothers, Suits, and Whose Line. Miiight try the Newsroom if it gets better than the first season.

Talking Bad? Are you for real? Do people actually watch The Talking Dead?

As for what I'll be watching I'll probably only watch BB and Dexter. Maybe Under the Dome if I hear anything good about it.

True Blood (I'm watching just to see how bad this can get).

Burn Notice, Graceland, Perception, and Covert Affairs for me. I may check out Axe Cop as well. I'm bummed that Burn Notice's season is shorter than normal.

Might check out Dome

Haven't heard much about the others. I blame GAF. You guys are taking up all my time.

THERE'S GOING TO BE A NEW SEASON OF THE PITCH?

I'm the only one in the world who cares, but that just made my day. I assumed it was dead when it wasn't paired with Mad Men this season. It's a really enjoyable look into advertising, and one of the best examples of workplace reality TV out there. Glad they didn't can it.
