The one thing i really love about this season is a strong level of competency. Malory reminded us all she is a badass secret agent that did stuff. I want more general competency stuff. One of my big bummers of a few seasons ago was pam not actually getting soy training.

Not officially confirmed yet, but I think the show does very well for FX and it's not in any danger of being canceled anytime soon. Reed has spoken about long term planning beyond S7 a few times this year.

Oh, I see. I hadn't read the other long term plans he spoke of this year. Nice to know that he still has some ideas of what he'd like to do. I thought that we had another early renewal going on that I had missed.

Definitely sounds like he has plans for Cyril if the show is officially renewed.

Season 8, we’re going to see a different iteration of Cyril. It could be a bit darker and not nearly — at least on the surface — as sympathetic. I think Cyril’s life would be so much better if he would just leave Archer’s world. I think Cyril on his own would be a great guy, great at whatever he did, but I think Archer has slowly driven him, if not crazy, to become a very bitter human being.

Last time they renewed it for two seasons (S6 & S7.) Here's the Hitfix interview with Reed.
Now that you’re in Season 7, the series is mature. While fans hope it’s around for a long time to come, have you mapped out the end game for Archer?

It is all mapped out. The mapping started about half way through the writing of this Season 7. I sort of have the end in mind, I just am hoping it’s a long time from now…I don’t want FX to call and go, ‘Hey, so that ending, just do an extra episode this season and make that the end and then get out.’

Okay, I used to have a theory that Cyril was a double agent, and that made all his blumberings way more interesting. But he really is too incompetent at spy stuff, and that kind of bummed me out :/ Him and the lack of bulldozer Pam.

After the final episode with jakov that was my running theory as well. And honestly i still think there may be something to it.

I dunno, that moment he ran around naked in the snow open to sniper fire was the exact moment that kind of killed the theory for me. I'd still be stoked if it happened, and Cyril turned into the series main antagonist.

The voice of Veronica Dean sounds like the announcer woman for Archer to me

Aw man I need to go look for other uploads of these other interstitials. Really like them.

Forgot this was a multi-part episode so that kinda sucks but I love to see competent Archer

Definitely was.

Really liked the episode. Lots of funny moments, and I like when Archer is showing his skills. So great that the event was for the American Tinnitus Association lol.

Cheryl—I mean Tanya—with the Idaville/Encyclopedia Brown stuff was hysterical. Also "Lipstick they don't mind, but mascara: whole big thing."

Only reason I can think of that the clowns would keep that group of people around is that this is a fake robbery organized one of them. So Crane or the lawyer probably?

I'm excited for this, if only because the next episode preview is
of pam cracking her neck, undoing her shirt and saying I hope I'm not allergic to clown blood.

I think the it's the lawyer who organised it, he made a face when Cheryl told him to hire a clown because the party was boring.

I thought the latest was the weakest so far. Not sure what was going on with Archer saying this is going to happen now and going in for the kiss. I didn't understand the script there and didn't think the scene had much impact or humor. Couple good bits though.
