After a lifetime of dreaming/planning I finally had the chance to visit Japan for two weeks last month. Aside from exploring and enjoying all Tokyo had to offer, I spent a considerable amount of time hunting down some games that've been on my hitlist for years. I'm excited to have a PS4 finally, it is the first Sony console I've ever owned and my first console since the Wii in 2007. I still have to decide for my first game.

I'm actually considering swapping the rear shell with a black one from my old DS4 if it fits, because I really don't like the white parts. Aside from that it feels better than the original DS4.

From the same seller that sold me the fake Tetris game, but luckily this one appears to be legit. There's even a receipt from HMV inside.

FFBE OST:

I don't care about the game itself, but the OST is kind of amazing.

You're gonna want to get that one sooner rather than later. I asked HeavyArm Garage Store if they could get me a copy, they don't seem to have any plans to get new stock, if ever they even carried it. Doesn't mean it's going OOP, but with Play-Asia being my only option left to get the game, I didn't want to risk missing out.

Also that big ass stylus is amazing and I wish it had a dedicated slot.

Never played a Metroid Prime game, so I figured I should check out the trilogy before Prime 4 releases on the Switch. Got lucky and found it for pretty cheap in a local game store.

Wanted a physical copy of Ever Oasis, but went with the convenience of digital. Also picked up some new sunglasses from H&M, and some Hanz de Fuko Quicksand.

Yeah, that big-ass stylus is awesome. It's so much more comfortable to use than whatever else comes with the DS or 3DS that fits in the side.

I never bought a DSi though, I got mine from the Ninendo Store. They're still there and they're only 4 dollars (in case anyone else wants one).

Please excuse the picture I took in the bathroom. I had this shipped to where my niece lives and I wanted to wrap it before I gave it to her. I also got her a case and Minecraft on the eshop. She loved Minecraft at least when I was there with her even though she already has it on her 360. She had fun a little bit with ARMS, but I think she got bored of it quickly.

Got this coffee because I saw it in last month's thread. It's pretty damn good, I'd say. I keep coffee in these containers and just tape a cut-out of the label on the side in case like I offer a cup to a guest so they can see what it is. Really though, they often pick based on which one smells the best to them. (man, I need to clean my coffee grinder...). Trivia: the reason I bought a siphon vac-pot is because Brewster in Animal Crossing uses one.

Honestly, some unnecessary impulse buys here.

I bought the HoneyBee just because I saw it randomly on ebay and thought it would help me when I want to rip my famicom games as my kazzo doesn't have a famicom slot. I don't even know where my kazzo is right now so I have to find it first before I can really use the HoneyBee. Still, kinda unnecessary since I play NES/famicom games on an AVS and it has slots for both. I just like ripping the roms so I can put them on my PowerPak and play them from there. (Italian speakers: by "kazzo" I mean this thing, not... you know). I already have a copy of Hogan's Alley with the converter in it, but it's too big to use with famicom carts (it's too fat for the cart) and I'd have to take apart my famicom games every time I wanted to use it. I guess I could file or sand the side down like this guy does in this youtube video, but I don't wanna...

I really like Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest Redacted. I ripped my copy of Castlevania 2 a long time ago and patched it with the Redacted mod, as well as a hack that gives you double hearts, a hack that makes day/night transitions almost immediate (Redacted speeds it up, but it still takes some time), and another that makes the "fall-through" blocks invisible. I've beaten Vanilla CV2 since as well, but I usually play the "easy" version I've made because it's just more fun to play.

Baseball Stars is great. I just wanted to play it again. Haven't had a copy since I was a kid. My Pop loved this game too, I wonder if he'd still care (probably not...).

I wanted Muramasa back when it was still only on Wii, but never bought it. Bought this one when I was going to Gamestops looking for a Switch for my niece's birthday present. I like it alright, I guess. Not as much as I hoped though.

(Also: forgot about the Xbox One pad I got while I was at Gamestop, too. I think this is my 12th or 13th Xbox One pad. I might have a problem...)
