You know, coming back to this thread, I occasionally see these weird criticisms where I don't really understand what they're talking about at all.

The game runs at 30fps, we all know this by now, but besides that. I wouldn't exactly call it very janky and not smooth enough. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just not able to detect this extreme amount of jankiness that seems so obvious to you.

I think he is mistaking the camera shake for "jankiness". Either that or I have terrible eyes.

I agree with what he said. I think the low frame rates look bad and are distracting, especially near the end of the video

Visually it looks amazing. Take a close look at the 1:22 mark while making the turn from the inside cab view. It shows the haze inside the windshield as the light glares off of it. Some minor critiques are the noticeable jaggies at times and I still don't know about that frame rate.

Low frame rates? Do you mean 30fps or are you seeing drops?

As far as I can tell, it seems like a steady framerate to me. Like I said, maybe I am just not seeing it.

Really loving the AI. They aren't all out crazy, but they make very subtle moves throughout to overtake the car ahead. And that was in direct contrast to the last car, which almost did an "Eat that, bitch!" revenge overtake at the end. I guess bumping him pissed him off. So good!

i dunno if it's actual drops or what but I think a lot of times when the car is on a road with sun and shadows it seems to accentuate the choppiness

You know, I was wondering if it had something to do with the shadows. Because you're moving at speed, it causes a kind of flickering. I did notice that. Perhaps it's kind of like a strobe effect going on.

Looks really good. By release I expect it will look even better. I do have one question, not related to the graphics. I know this game isn't going to have a huge car count, but are all the cars going to be these kind of high end supercars?

I don't think there's a single dropped frame anywhere in this video, or in the other two videos released yesterday. If you point me to a timestamp where you're seeing it, I can go frame by frame to confirm it, but I think your video player is in fact just dropping frames playing this.

Unlike the older 2 videos, this one doesn't look "soft" at all. The cars look really crisp. I wonder what that's all about

Watching the white car just in front of the featured vehicle is a thing of beauty. From the 1:54 mark just watch the A.I. subtle but yet aggressive moves.

I can't stop watching that video, I gotta say it again, best damn visuals for a racing game to date! This gives me a feel of PGR as well but in pure 100% next generation beauty! Oh the foliage and track side detail is simply stunning!

Very nice video, but man the cockpit view of the car makes it look cramped and I'm really not a fan of the look of the interior, what's up with those air vents?

We're looking at getting a new car later this year, but I do not think I'll even consider the Pagani Huayra.

It's the first next gen video that I can't stop obsessing over either. Pretty crazy turnaround for me because I really wasn't feeling the game at all before this video.

This truly is the first next gen racer, WOW! I'm really digging how dense these tracks are. There is just so much going on in the background, and I imagine that it really makes the driving experience so much better.

I only have one request from Evolution. Please bring in some American sports cars! I would gladly pay for some DLC that included a 2015 Corvette ZO6. ;)

I'm a HUUUUUUUUGEEE fan of the MotorStorm series and while this doesn't look as fun as those games, this still looks pretty damn good so far and it's pushing me closer to getting a PS4...

What truly gets me about this game is the detailed environments. They are absolutely amazing for a racing game. This is truly a game to be excited for, if you have a PS4. Actually I think I've probably never seen environments this impressive in a racing game period.

This new footage has blown my mind. The level of detail is insane...Matter of fact I think Evo is insane for even considering to put this much detail into a racing game (good kind of insane)

Off topic but I seriously hope they make a PS4 motorstorm.
