Not a game for everyone, but for those who appreciate its design ambitions -- in short, to bring everything that made classic PC RPGs great into the modern era -- it's absolutely perfect. I'd have given this a crazy high score if I'd been on the review, but since it was localized by a friend I had to step back and let Andrew Fitch stand up for its honor instead. Still, believe me when I say there's no personal bias about my love for this game; all I did on my daily commute for months was explore the labyrinth of the world tree. I can't wait for the sequel.
